Trong chuyến phiêu lưu đầy mạo hiểm, họ phải tìm cách ngăn chặn Thuyền trưởng Nero - thuộc tộc người Romulan – kẻ đang có âm mưu tàn sát toàn nhân loại.   Directed by J.J. Abrams Genre: Action, Adventure Rating: 8.3/10 (84,146 votes) Starring: Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, Eric Bana Nội dung: Số phận của vũ trụ phụ thuộc vào hai chàng trai có tính cách đối lập. Một là James Tiberius Kirk (Chris Pine) – một người không bao giờ chùn bước, anh ta sinh ra là để làm thủ lĩnh. Người kia là Spock (Zachary Quinto) – lớn lên ở hành tinh Vulcan, thông minh và kiên định nhưng luôn mang mặc cảm vì xuất thân không bình thường của mình.  Spock là người rất nhạy cảm, điều mà chẳng bao giờ có ở những người Vulcan thuần chủng. Anh ta cũng là người Vulcan đầu tiên được theo học ở Học viện Starfleet. Một người sống hết mình vì đam mê, một lại tuân thủ những qui tắc một cách khắc nghiệt – đó là lí do khiến Kirk và Spock trở thành đối thủ của nhau.  Tham gia vào chuyến du hành còn có Thuyền trưởng Christopher Pike (Bruce Greenwood), Bộ trưởng Bộ Y tế Leonard McCoy (Karl Urban) – người sẽ đảm nhận vai trò kĩ sư , Montgomery Scott (Simon Pegg), Bộ trưởng Bộ Thông tin Uhura (Zoë Saldana), anh chàng Sulu đầy kinh nghiệm (John Cho) và cậu nhóc 17 tuổi giỏi giang Chekov (Anton Yelchin).  Họ cùng đối mặt với cuộc chiến đầy thách thức và cũng trong lúc sinh tử đó, lòng trung thành, tình bạn, lòng dũng cảm đã gắn bó tất cả. Kirk và Spock nhận ra định mệnh không thể chối bỏ của họ: Một đôi bạn khác thường nhưng gắn bó hơn bất cứ ai.
