Trong những tính năng mới nổi bật Norton Antivirus 2008 là mạng trực tuyến của Symantec dùng để đối phó với các nguy cơ mới (Symantec online Network for Advanced Response - SONAR).

Chức năng SONAR bổ sung khả năng bảo vệ dựa trên các giải thuật sẵn có của Symantec phát triển để tìm ra những spyware và virus mới.

Đối với bản Norton Internet Security 2008, chức năng được bổ sung là nhận dạng an toàn (Identity Safe) cải tiến từ giải pháp Confidential của Norton thiết kế cho đảm bảo an toàn các tác vụ lướt web.

Được tập trung phát triển từ cuối 2006, giải pháp Norton Confidential có khả năng ngăn chặn những hành vi phishing; vô hiệu hoá các ứng dụng "nguy hiểm" chuyên đánh cắp thông tin bí mật của người dùng.

Chức năng đó sẽ cảnh báo người dùng khi truy cập vào các trang bị nghi ngờ có ẩn chứa mã phishing và sẽ tiến hành xác nhận những trang web hợp pháp bằng cách hiển thị biểu tượng tin cậy "True Mark".

Ứng dụng cũng có khả năng phát hiện keylog và ngăn không cho thông tin mật khẩu được gửi tới các trang web trái phép.

Các ứng dụng bảo mật mới của Symantec cũng sẽ được cải thiện về hiệu năng cũng như khả năng cập nhật qua mạng.

Không ***** được Norton Antivirus 2007 đâu. Nhưng nếu bạn muốn, mình có thể gửi cho bạn link bản NAV 2007 OEM dùng được trong 6 tháng.

Không chán đâu bạn ạ ! vì 6 tháng cũng là khoảng thời gian đủ lâu để mình nên ghost lại máy 1 lần. Khi ấy mình có thể reinstall Norton Antivirus 2007 và lại có thể tận hưởng cảm giác an toàn tuyệt vời mà nó mang lại.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Unrar, Burn or mount with Daemon Tools.

2. DISCONNECT FROM THE INTERNET! THIS IS IMPORTANT!

3. Run the installer, and run the ****** .

4. Copy the Product Key from the ****** to the Norton Setup then press
the I Agree button..

5. Complete installation and finally you will get to the activation,
it's important that you are NOT connected to the Internet!
Press the Next button.

6. A message box will come up telling you that you need Internet
connectivity to continue, just press the OK Button, and then press
the Next button.

7. You will get to a part where it's trying to connect to the Internet
for online activation, after a while it will fail, this is fine,
repeat this step again.

8. After attempting to do online activation two times, it will fail.

9. Select Phone Activation and press press the Next button.

10. Now copy the 36 digit Request Code into the Request Code field in
the ******, no dashes or spaces just one long 36 digit string.
Select how many years you want to license the software for, and
press the Generate button to get your Unlock Code.

11. Copy the generated Unlock Code to the Norton activation screen,
then press the Next button.

12. Enjoy a fully unlocked copy, and naturally DO NOT register this
